# Join a town

**Option 1: Check Our Discord Server**\
**Command:** `/discord`\
Many towns advertise in our Discord server as a way to recruit new members. You can browse the **#towns** channel to find towns that match your playstyle or interests.

Keep in mind that not every town listed may be openly accessible, so you might not be able to immediately teleport to or visit them. In some cases, you may need to message the original poster for more information.

**Option 2: Ask in Server Chat**\
If you’re still looking for a town, or simply prefer a more direct approach, feel free to ask in server chat. Many players are often recruiting and may be happy to invite you to their town.\
\
**Joining a Town**\
Once you’ve found a town you’d like to join, use the command:\
\&#xNAN;**/town join \<name>**\
After joining, you can teleport to your town at any time using:

**/t spawn**\
Once you arrive, look around for an available plot of land and claim it using:

**/plot claim**\
If you’re having trouble finding an open plot, don’t hesitate to ask your fellow town members or the town mayor for assistance.
